These games just ain't what they used to be.
Posted by IncrediblePopeman Jun. 22, 2009 @ 11:20 AM EDTI don't know what you people think but in my opinion, games have taken a turn for the worse.
When video games started, there were crappy graphics, and nobody knew what the hell they were doing. Then the graphics got a little better, and players got a better idea.
Then the golden age of games came, The beginnings of 3-D gameplay. The graphics were pretty terrible, but companies had fun with it, they got creative with the new type of graphics. They made up for the visual strain by having incredible gameplay, and story lines.
While NOW, it seems that the people have gotten lazy. I'M LOOKING AT YOU NINTENDO. The graphics are astounding, while the story line, and game play are failing. The Wii was an incredible idea, but an idea Nintendo just didn't know what to do with. So now we all have these systems, and the best thing we have for them is some pussy children's game! There was Brawl, which turned out fine, Twilight Princess which Showed that the Zelda team was getting lazier by the game. Just pointing out that Nintendo is dying.
Although there are other systems that are including Graphics, Story line, AND good gameplay. Many games for PS3 and Xbox360 are great (i.e. Ghostbusters, Halo series, and that one game called something like Tiny Big world or something like that, I dunno my friend told me about it).
So don't be surprised when Nintendo Dies, but until then, I would recommend just sitting back, and Figure out the LoZ: OoT water temple on your N64.
